Inside the cabin

Now both of them were inside the cabin , Shivaay was in his chair while Anika was sitting in front of him. He was not able to believe that the person who he has been imagining in his dream since 3 years is sitting in front of him that too so close. While Anika was mentally preparing herself to hear a lecture.

“Now tell me why didn’t you attend the interview on time?” he asked her trying his best to sound normal  because he didn’t want to tell her about his feelings so early.

“Sir I was … I … “ she was trying her best to quickly develop a brilliant lie so that she can be saved from this situation.. “ Yes sir I was coming but then I got into an accident which resulted in me being late. “

At this Shivaay stood up in panic and held her by her shoulder made her stood up and started checking her body thoroughly for any injury. While seeing his state Anika was not able to understand his behaviour. At last she thought that maybe whatever the news channel describe about his character he isn’t like that. He is actually quite a gentleman.

When he confirmed that she is not injured he finally left her.

“You said that you had an accident then didn’t you get any injury or are you just making up excuse?” he asked authoritatively.

“ No Sir I am not lying . Actually it was not me who got injured but a lady who got her leg fractured by coming in front of a bike and while helping that lady to reach the hospital I got late…” she replied not knowing exactly what she was blabbering , even a third grade student  can come up with a genuine excuse much better than her.

But Shivaay was clever enough to know that she was just making it up.. But he didn’t blew up her lie instead he enjoyed being a part of it… and said

“OHH… YOU really did well  then … “ he said sarcastically….. and went back to his chair while she sat back on her seat.

“Thank you sir” she replied awkwardly..

“Ok then show me your designs then … You came here for the post of jewellery designer, right?”

“Yaa sure sir , here have a look…”

Shivaay took her designs from her  but he was shocked  as well as impressed by her as her designs were really very explicit and worthy . Now he was sure that he can’t let go of such a talented designer.

“You really design well… So…. “

“So sir…”

“You are selected Miss Anika. You can join us from tomorrow.”

“Wow really sir am I selected…..am I…. “  she stood up and went to his side  and held his hand “Thank you so much sir … Thank you… It means a lot …. “    and when she realised that what was she doing she quicky left him and became embarrassed .

“It’s Ok , You may leave now.”

And then she went outside with smiling face  while Shivaay was busy in caressing his hand which she was holding a minute ago…..
